Patient education for the real world of COPD patient
Breathe is a Techstars-funded startup that designs apps for patients with chronic lung conditions. Conditions include asthma, COPD and cystic fibrosis. These diseases, when poorly managed, consume billions of healthcare dollars.
The goal of the apps, then, is to help patients and families better manage lung conditions, especially after hospitalizations and in between doctor appointments—the critical moments when patients are least supported and yet most responsible for their own care.
